Every year, thousands of children who are experiencing foster care are uprooted from their homes with no warning and then given trash bags to carry their belongings - a silent but crushing symbol of neglect. Comfort Cases replaces shame with dignity through sturdy backpacks containing brand-new items, including pajamas, socks, a blanket, a stuffed animal, a hygiene kit, a dental kit, other age-appropriate supplies, and personal notes of encouragement by the packer of the case.
